This is something special! I get a very odd, eerie, spooky vibe listening to this - as if there was something wrong but you can't quite put the finger on it, and then when you finally understand...it's too late! :D Would be awesome in an experimental horror game! I love it! <3

I like this a lot, it's very spooky!

Which is a vibe I very much enjoy, it feels like whoever is jamming this on their guitar by the lake has a lot of dark thoughts on their mind they're trying to work through. Good use of the soundfont too.

I love that this track is so brave in playing with dissonance and disorienting elements, while it's clear that everything is put together wisely. It's haunting, it's really good. I wonder what kind of person would jam on their guitar like this :)

Developer

thanks! I certaintly don't know how to jam on a guitar ;) But it sounded to my ears like a guitar solo.

That's an unusual one for sure, giving me Golden Sun and Chrono Trigger vibes, a mix of nostalgia, peacefulness but uneasiness ; filling the frequency spectrum quite well, with spaces to breath and to give space, nice stereo image as well. Digging it !

Developer

thank you, mentioning golden sun and chrono trigger is compliment enough :) I always like to play around with paning. sometimes I overdo it a little.

How strange! The sounds, the atmosphere, the harmonic staticity, and the polytonal of the melodies that seem to live their own life ... if the first impact is to remain stunned by so many disconcerting choices, on the second listen, we say to ourselves that finally, it is less difficult to grasp than we thought. The main melody ends up entering the head, and all the instruments as bizarre as it is become a personal touch with an original discourse, as if coming from a meditative improvisation. Why not. We just wonder what will end up coming out of the lake.

Developer

I take the strangeness as a compliment, as in meaning differnt from the usual ;) Actually while improvising the melody, I was in a kind of trance like state. Sometimes I get lost in this process. Maybe the melody is meant to summon a creature from the lake ;) Thank you for your great comment!

I loved the lead(correct if thats not a lead) and at the end of the track, it has kinda of a disturbing feeling that makes you think that there's something else about its history. Nice track!

Developer

yes, that is a lead you are correct :) who knows maybe there is something happening after the song is done... like a boss fight :D Thank you for your feedback.
