I think you inspired the control from the game Isaac. I even like that game. Anyway, I liked the game, especially the control.

How does your game relate to the theme?
The theme inspired the new health system where your items are your health, when you receive a hit your item will break, and you'll lose its ability (unless its ability is to have an extra hit), also the idea of memory evocate to us a creepy/sad mood, so we made a game similar to TBOI, but with a twist where the movement of a top-down and a platformer are combine.
