Nice use of the theme. I recently adopted a cat so I know what a pawful they can be. The presentation is fantastic and the cat sprite looks great! Platforming took a little getting used to. The cat keeps the forward momentum you had when jumping which makes jumping onto platforms a bit awkward. I prefer being able to have some control in the air when jumping even if it's unrealistic but more a personal preference.
The base concept for the game is cute. Playing as a cat and getting into mischief like knocking over objects and smacking things around with your paw is fun (I couldn't find the laser pointer tho). Having the choice to be a good or bad kitty when interacting with points of interest is an interesting concept but doesn't really have a lot of room for expansion. I did like that even if you were a bad kitty your new owners still kept you tho. :)
Aw that is cute, we definitely can't throw out a cat, right? haha
Well, it just needs to have more gameplay I guess, other than that, it is a nice game!
I really loved the presentation, it's a very nice game to look at. I think it would be purrfect if it had a more varied gameplay
nice work! The artwork here is really great & the music fits well! It's a great take on the theme as well! I played once for the good ending, once for the bad, and one more time to find the laser to play the mini game.
That said, there's not much to the gameplay aspect here. Other than wanting to see what the "bad" ending is, there's no incentive to do anything bad, so I just did all the good option. I think it would be better to have to choose between two options for each object, but not say if it'll be the "good option" or the bad one. Something that the player will have to decide if what they do will be good or bad to the owner (then maybe even throw some curve balls, like destroying the couch was good because the owners wanted to get rid of it or something.) It would add even more replay value! Also, the jumping didn't feel very good, as you couldn't move forward while in the area & sometimes you couldn't land on the platforms very easily either.
It's a good start for sure! Just needs a bit of polish in the gameplay and you're golden, so good job!
