Short, but seems to be pretty good!

Hi there, I just wanted to let you know that I played your game and I had a lot of fun playing it. I really loved the skeleton animation, it was awesome. I really look forward to seeing more of your games. I did make a video of your game, I hope that's alright. But thanks for making the game, it was lot of fun ^^

Developer(+1)

Awesome! Thanks for playing! I'll be sure to watch your video.

I have to second the notion that the animation on that skeleton was awesome!  The music was a little trippy and had that, "Keep moving!" vibe to it that made everything seem more dangerous.  Are we unable to open the treasure chest?  I don't know what's inside but I WANT IT!

Developer

lol, thanks. I personally like the skeleton too, soon there will be more enemies *cough*goblin*cough* whoopse. sorry. But no, the treasure chest cant be opened as of now, but it will be soon, when i have the inventory system working :)

Awesome! I really dig the low-poly style, the skeleton roar animation was epic, and I enjoyed the fact that I could see my feet! :D The combat was a little vague because right before killing skeletons  I also passed through them and got a bit of damage, but the fights were nice nevertheless. Also, I think I befriended the slime. Or just got it stuck in a wall, but that made it feel like a special character. Great job and I wish you the best on expanding it :)

special character hmmmm? That gave me an idea :D thanks. Thanks for playing, also, yea the attack is kinda weird bc, the animation moves the player as a hole, not just the arm, im gonna fix that.

I really liked the gameplay itself, even with the sword feeling a bit slow to attack (I'm not sure whether it was the animation, or that and something else), but the sprint and movement were at just about the right speed. If you decide to make this further into a fast paced, run from the slimes but fight the skeletons, the movement is just great for it. Though there also could have been something showing you hit an enemy (the classic red flash, or an animation of some sorts, just to make it a bit clearer). Speaking of animation, the skeleton was amazing :)
So, some minor tweaks here or there and I think it could turn out pretty awesome :) (with some more levels of course, but hey, this is a game jam so I'm not too picky about that really :) )

thanks for replying! What you said sounds great. Well be happy to add some of not all of those features. Bc that is about the idea of what I had planned for it originally.

Great sound!

thanks!

I like fighting those skellies! But how do you open chests?

Developer(+1)

you see, i was going to make them accessible (kinda) by pressing E, but I only had last night to do it, and I am not too good with code so i would have had to make a whole inventory system for the money that you got. But there would be nothing to do with it since its only a demo, but we hope to add a full inventory, expansive levels, traps, and more to the full release.
