Thank you guys for all feedback.

At beginning I wanted to create Dark Souls like game with procedurally generated bosses. Unfortunately I was stuck for too long on suitable architecture of neural network and design of body parts, so they could be properly controlled by that network. So I ended up with this Proof of Concept with only worms, because it was fun spliting them in half.

The game is an actual inspiration! It would be greatly expandable, a game where to gather small armies of bugs to fight boss bugs. A giant arena...it can even be multiplayer.

Enjoyable core gameplay. Cool idea to change formations, allows you to dodge projectiles differently and makes certain attacks more or less efficient. The idea of players and enemies be small part of larger whole fits the bug theme well. My main gripe is that the worms felt too much like bullet sponges, it takes quite a while to kill each segment. Definitely a good concept that can be further expanded on with different bugs, attacks etc.
