Well done on the game jam game! How did you find it making it?

Found the game very hard but made me want to carry on playing it to try and complete it :) good work, interacting with NPCs is a nice touch too! Like someone else mentioned, a death counter would be fun to see how many times I died haha

Glad you've enjoyed it! I had a lot fun making the game, though I am a little bit bummed out I didn't have enough time to implement everything that I wanted. I won't forget the death count next time. :)

Found the game difficult and I think the controls were part of what made the jumps hard to pull off. It seems that at times they are not as responsive as you'd like them to be when performing precision jumps to avoid spikes! Interesting choice to go with a 2.5D perspective but feel that more could be done with the scenery to make full use of this design choice. Regardless, well done on your submission! :)

I tried to make a difficult platformer and I went overboard with it. As for the jumps I wanted it to be this way, it makes it better in my eyes.

Thanks for playing! :)

This game changed my hole life. I left my wife and kids to play this game for 100 hrs a week. 10/10 would do it again.

A really interesting platformer (and I do love those!); quite easy to grasp the controls and interaction with NPCs and straightforward in its gameplay. A point I experienced that the game lagged in the Windows version was when I fell off the platform and I was unable to exit or respawn automatically, but other than that fun to play!

Developer

I didn't really get to test the game on Windows that much, so I expected some stuff to go wrong. I'll pay more attention to it in the future.

Thanks for the feedback and for playing. :)

Interesting little platformer, I'm sure you gained quite a bunch of experience while working on this. It made for a hard and frustrating yet fun experience, you should think of implementing a death counter haha. Looking forward to what you come up next time!

Glad you've enjoyed it. Now that you mention it, a death counter would be really cool. I'm gonna keep this in mind for future games.
