Very cool and extremely fun game!, reminds me a lot of super meat boy, my only complaint is that it uses flash, other than that this is amazing, i would appreciate if you could review our game too :)

Very nice game!

Wow, first time to see a flash game in a jam. Simple game but works really well. Good job!

I got it now XD. The game was really fun and I liked the concept, the art, and the animations you had behind all of this. Although I wasn't sure if the level with no buzzsaws was the end because I couldnt reach the other door. Only thing I would say is to probably get a bit more diverse music because I kind of got tired of hearing nearly the same thing repeated for about 2 seconds. Other than that, nice game! :D

Thank you)))

Cool game! Had fun!

This was a pretty fun obstacle course like platformer! I was a little confused as to when the game ended. I ended up here, but I wasn't sure how to get to the other door
Music definitely did it's job. Was basic, but never felt repetitive or annoying.

I liked the artstyle as well. It was really cool to see the little detail you added to the saws(those little black dots that appear)
Maybe the only thing I'd say is tighten the wall jump. At times I would think that I'd reach the other side and while I did, I never clinged on the wall. This was just due to me having to move in thee direction of the wall, but it doesn't feel as good as say, a mario wall jump(where you can jump from wall to wall). I think if the jump reaches the other side without me having to move in that direction with the arrow key it'd help!

Thanks a lot for feedbacks!

From rules in discord

We kept the option to upload new builds open to allow you, the devs, the opportunity to support as many platforms as possible. We ask for you to keep the changes you make to your games to a bare minimum in order to keep the jam fair to all.
As mentioned earlier elsewhere the discord server, if there are small bugs that made your game unplayable you can fix and resubmit. This does not mean you’re free to add new features, menus, levels, etc... anyone caught doing this will have their submission disqualified and will be banned.

I add flash-browser version for all OS (before game works only for Windows) with fixed this bug and changed world "preess" on "press" in tip. Also I keep old version pld.exe to be clean for the rules.

Super cool to play a flash game again, loving the simple but effective art style :D Would be better if it was available to play online as I had to disable my antivirus to play but that doesn't detract from the quality of the game!

Very nice game, I just don't think it fits the theme very well, I enjoyed it thoug.

I would love to play this game if there was a browser version of it! I only run on MAC at the moment.

Developer

Sorry I didn't have enough time to upload all versions for my game. Only yesterday in discord the rules was announced and I've added flash version (needs Flash Player to run this game in browser).

Ahh, I understand. I tried the flash version by the way and everytime I enabled the flash, the game stille didn't play. (Maybe it may be my computer)

Developer

Which browser do you use?  FireFox and Chrome should be good for launch this game.

This was super cool! I haven't seen a flash game in forever.

Fun game, The only complaint i had you have covered in the comment below, that is the meter not moving if you are stopped, also a FLASH GAME!! its been so long, Fun concept the controls and the movement was quite flawless and the game felt very smooth, Decent Art style too. The music was decent and the sawing noise went throught me like fingers on a chalk board but in a good way!

Flash still live for me as the fastest developer platform for my experiments. Convert vector animation to sprites for each object takes up too much time, so I feal full freedom in flash. "Old but strong!" :)
Thanks for feedback

I do miss Flash Games! honestly this is the first Game iv noticably played in flash in probably 5 years, and yeah i mean if you can make this level of content over a weekend it truly is fast! not to take away from your skill ofcourse :

Quite a fun little platformer. I like the pain mechanic, it's a shame that you forgot to add it in the last build. I got stuck on a level where the door is 4 blocks up, it looks impossible, but i'm guessing there is a way to do it?

Developer(+1)

Thanks. No, it's a last level, haven't time to add more :)

Submitted

Ah ok, you should have made that clear in the game

Developer

Pain progress should scale if you stopped. You have to keep moving. I've tested a game without this feature and forgot add it in last build. I'm sorry for that ):

Hey! Thats all right, I played the game and I really see the potential in the concept and like the art style a lot - i think it sets the mood and gives a grim feeling. My advice would be to upload a WEBGL build as well - because when I download this file on my computer, I got a 100 thousand different anti virus recommendations and what not. Good luck!
