Hey, great job on the game! I had a lot of fun with it and it had a nice look to it. Having to click for every shot was a bit hard on my wrist - would love to be able to just hold down for shoot. Overall though, great job!

The music is awesome and perfectly fits the theme and aesthetics. I would add sound effects to give player feedback about what is happening since it is difficult to tell if you hit an enemy or if you are being hit. Fun overall!

Thanks for the feedback, I kinda just hit burnout in the last few days and couldn't implement everything I wanted. We had some issues during development and thus I could not actually finish the boss room haha! Looking forward to playing your game!

The game has a cool aesthetic, but I'm not sure if the ending is triggered reliably.

  • The menu for the controls looks very polished, but you are actually missing the key image for shift (so blind me didn't see it :D)
  • I really like the tail following the movement of your character.
  • The level looks pretty.
  • I killed one big blocky guy in one room with a lot of the smaller enemies as well. Is he the necromancer? The game didn't end after that, but I couldn't find any other door.
  • There was the background music, but no other sound. You could use some feedback like sounds when shooting, and some screen shake when hit.

Thanks for the feedback, I kinda just hit burnout in the last few days and couldn't implement everything I wanted. We had some issues during development(pc crashing, wrong unity engine version since we wanted to use plastic as a vc) and thus I could not actually finish the boss room haha! I wanted to mainly do 3D art and focus on the designing aspects but one of our coders couldn't attend anymore so I had to write a lot of code and still actually create some assets. Your submitted game looks amazing!

Hi, I noticed your submission is missing source. Your source is everything someone needs to download your game, open it in the game engine, and hit Play to play the game. Here is an example of the files to include: https://github.com/icepol/DeathIsOnlyTheBeginning

Had a few issues with setting up git, but should be able to upload it after work. Thanx for the example
