Nice idea to mix it up between the intro and the more combat-style play.

Looks quite nice!

a good start with the game and on the theme, but killing the demons and having to restart each time was a bit frustrating. good work though!

Nice game, you achieved a lot work.

I really enjoyed this! I was surprised when the gameplay style changed from side-scroller to top down, but it was a good surprise! I can tell you put some work into the door opening mechanics, and I really liked the pixel art. One suggestion I would make is to allow the character to attack up and down, as it can be a bit challenging to have to fight enemies sideways all the time. Great job on this!

Glad you enjoyed it. I did consider making a 360 hit field but wanted to add a bit of a challenge for the players to where they had to plan where they stood and how they positioned themselves. After a few friends have played I realize that I should have gone with the 360 field as most of them had a bit more trouble than I planned on, which is a shame since they couldn't make it to the end game which I thought was pretty cool.  I loved the visuals on your game. Did you go with URP or HDRP out of curiosity? The lighting and music combined was relaxing. It made the feel of the game very casual which was really nice amongst quite a few games that have a sense of urgency and "threat".

I totally get it, there were a lot of things I wasn't able to change in my game due to the fact that we only had 10 days! It's okay though, now there's more time to work on this stuff :). And, thank you from the compliments - I went with URP. I'm glad you enjoyed it as well!

I love this game! I didnt expect that from a terraria lumberjack, i'd turn into a dungeon crawling link ^w^. Awesome game! I love the visuals, and the sound design. Level design is also clever!

Sorry for the late reply (school and work have been consuming much of my time), I'm glad you enjoyed the game. I loved your game as well. It has a very old school doom type feel with the graphics which is awesome. The first time I had a "shadow person" as I call them, I audibly said "oh wtf" lol.
