i think the idea of cycling through life and afterlife over and over again through dying and rebirth is pretty cool, especially for a rogue like. 

but I would take out the title screen after you die in the after life so it doesn't feel like the game restarts, but rather your next life is about to start.


or maybe you didn't even go for this cycle thing and I'm just projecting my own thoughts?!

That was pretty fun. In some ways the faster you went the more challenging the game got because you never know when you're going to run into a scarab. Great work!
