Cool idea. I really like the 2d part. I would really try and continue working on this concept I thing you have something here that is worth continuing without the pressure of a jam deadline. I would love to check out a later version in the future!

I like the art of your game and the idea is interesting, I would have liked jump sounds and a sound for the dash. The music vas very catchy.

Thanks for the feedback, I want a lot more polish on this for sure. If I get some time here in the near future I would like to try and finish this one out :)

How did you enjoy godot? What engine do you usually use?

I really enjoy using Unreal Engine, GoDot was OK. Just limited in comparison to UE.  

The thing I liked the most about GoDot was how light weight it is, loading projects and getting in and out of the engine is super fast compared to the resources UE5 takes up.  

I won't give up on it but its not my first choice :D
