How much game does there have to be?

Not only is this my first game jam, but I'm also doing it solo. I'm a bit worried about how much I will be able to get done by the deadline, probably looking at only 1 completed level, maybe 2. Would that be enough?

Hopefully I will be able to deliver more, but at the current rate I'm doubting it (yes, it's my own fault for making something too ambitious for the first game jam).

I get the impression that this jam is quite easy-going. In general, you might only make 1 level/scene for a game jam, so I would just go for it and submit a sample/demo. You might get some feedback and encouragement to help you complete the game at a later date.
Simply take your idea, and pare it down - simplify it, preferably to it's funnest parts, and aim to complete that smaller portion in-time. If you get it done early, then you can add/tweak it more with the remaining time you have.

The way im probably doing it this time is a basic level, upload it then make changes to it until the deadline. That way I at least have something submitted. I ended up catching a flu so not sure how much i will get done but something is better than nothing.
