I really enjoyed this.

The AI only jumps when the ball is too close for him to react, which makes it impossible for him to get it if it goes too high.

I would feel more in control if you automatically feel through the platforms when holding L instead of there being a delay between you hitting the platform and falling through again.

But overall, this is one of the most fun games I've played in the jam.

The floor collision is a bit janky.

thank you for the feedback :)im glad you like it!

The controls made it feel like I did not have that much control, it also was weird that I could not attack when standing.  Also, would have been nice to be able to choose to play as the robot or the pirate.  Also,  when playing a second game the score does not reset.  The super move was kind of cool but seemed to work automatically?  Being able to control the jump height would have added a lot.  Also, there were a few times were the ball would just go past the pirate.

i updated the game, thanks for the hints :)

now you jump lower with platforms to help you get higher and the pirate is a bit more clever now (and a bit hard to defeat too)

about choosing the character,i will add a 2 player mode after the end of the jam, i just don't do this now to respect the rule of using only 2 buttons (2 players using 2 buttons = 4 buttons)

Lord Pillows I meant a character select screen or maybe even random for which one you are, maybe I don't always want to be a robot.
