If you have 150 scrap you can buy another life by selecting the smaller ship at the bottom of the screen.

I really enjoyed this.
The AI only jumps when the ball is too close for him to react, which makes it impossible for him to get it if it goes too high.
I would feel more in control if you automatically feel through the platforms when holding L instead of there being a delay between you hitting the platform and falling through again.
But overall, this is one of the most fun games I've played in the jam.
The floor collision is a bit janky.
You can't directly attack anything. You need to deflect the missile from the big ship into it or other ships to do damage, but the enemy ships with also try to deflect the missiles.
Destroying smaller ships gets you scrap that you can use to get turrets that will automatically destroy the enemy ships (which is needed the more you damage the bigger ship)
My time was 619s .
I liked it.
Some things to note. The collisions were unclear, I would slide off some things and stick to other things. There was no indication to when I could fire another ball to move, which made the movement a bit inconsistent. But I thought it was just difficult enough and short enough to stay fun!
