I love your music and character design! I have no idea what the game would be about (besides bowling), but I'm amped to play it!

Love the music! And that character is so cool!! And very nice camera pan with the two layers of buildings & stars!

OK, I agree it's a little incomprehensible but it's really good! How'd you do the effect where the stars stay still but the skyline moves? It looks great?

Also the music is really good!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the kind words!

For the stars and moon, they're sprites, and they're set as 'Pinned to Screen'. The tricky part was to set their background priority flag, I didn't find a way to do it straight in GB Studio (maybe it's there somewhere and I didn't find it), so I had to add an ugly hack in the "engine".

Oh, super cool! I've used that hack too but I didn't think to use it that way. Very clever and looks great

At first I wanted to move the sprites up at a different rate than the scrolling... But I quickly realized GB Studio wasn't meant for that :D !

Maybe I'll try to redo the intro in gbdk or rgbds one day...

The ideas, the presentation and the music are really great. I'd run the sequence very often in the last days. Fantastic creation!
