Can I upload a GB game (not GBA)?

Unfortunately no, only .GBA rom files are accepted in this jam.

There is an exception where you can upload a game that was made in GB studio so long as it has been exported as a .gba file which can only be done with an external tool on a specific version. (see "Can I use GB Studio?" in the jam overview F.A.Qs)

Thanks! I'm not using any toolkit, I'm writing the 1s and 0s directly from a Matlab script, so I could easily turn my """game""" into a GBA rom. I don't plan on winning, I just want to participate.

I don't know what I expected, it quickly turned out I had to learn an entirely new instruction set and how the GBA Hardware worked. I still haven't printed a single pixel to the screen, I can see the values I'm writing in the VRAM but nothing shows up. I did have a lot of fun learning a lot of things about the GBA and the ARM7TDMI CPU
