Unfortunately no, only .GBA rom files are accepted in this jam.

There is an exception where you can upload a game that was made in GB studio so long as it has been exported as a .gba file which can only be done with an external tool on a specific version. (see "Can I use GB Studio?" in the jam overview F.A.Qs)

There is no theme.

The only requirement is that the game should run on actual GBA hardware.

Yeah, I'd like to expand it and give it some actual gameplay at some point, probably something like Race the Sun.

Thanks, It's using GBA ninja, find me on the GBA dev discord and I can send you a template for it if you like.

An excellent visual novel, I love the writing and the backgrounds.

Gets into some real "not real" topics and they are just great.

Went back through to grab the other endings, yep, they're all about as sad as each other.

Good game, loving the sprite work.

Took a few tries to beat it and I eventually did so with a single hit left.

This is a technical marvel as a GBA game. It controls well and is fun to speenrun

An issue I noticed is that if you get a time/medal on a course and then go back and do that course again but get a slower time/medal, the faster time is overwritten by the slower time.

Very polished with a great visual style and some good music.

Perhaps I'm not strategizing properly but it feels like all my choclate is taken up by needing to recover instead of being able to upgrade attack and defence.

I haven't beaten the boss yet but I enjoyed trying.

I think this is a great idea for building on the core of tetris, it has a nice style and a fun concept.

I'm sure you've heard this a lot already but yeah, A+B should be for rotation, kind of leaves the right hand with nothing to do without that.

Here's an unsolicited level idea too, once a line is cleared, clear the line blocks but "forget" to move the pieces above the cleared line down.

Thanks again, the turret desync issue has been fixed.

The timings for the 3rd bullet run segment are tight but weren't changed, instead another issue of knockback occurring during the invulnerability you get after being hit was fixed, this solves the issues on the 3rd bullet run.

Thanks for comments and I hope you enjoy.

Thanks for your feedback. That jump is actually possible but, I would agree, definitely too hard. A newer version fixing the map faults such as that one has been made and uploaded.
