Wow that was hard!! Really cool stuff though!
Looks great and plays well
Hey, i really like the look of your game!
I had a few issues with it but overall its a solid idea and I hope you keep working on it. The things that stood out to me in my short playthrough were
- native resolution was 1:1 which was too small for me to play at so my only option was to fullscreen which filtered the graphics making everything blurry
- the attack delay felt a bit too long, found that a bit frustrating
- the initial enemies have 3 health!! thats a little thing but could be nice to start the player off with some easier to kill enemies right from the start :)
Great job!
I tried to beat this, but there are a couple rooms that I could not get past. I just kept dying and having to redo long parts :(
But the graphics are charming. The music and SFX fit well. There are a few quality of life things I would like to see like a slightly longer invulnerability after taking a hit, and a little bit longer of an attack so I am not constantly worried about taking damage -- and if you stayed facing the same direction while attacking. Overall a solid game, even if I didn't get to see the ending. The multiple hats is a cool mechanic to swap around how you play.
Nice work, the shooty guys are mean and soundtrack is really good :)
All around solid in every aspect. I would recommend adding a description on the helmet select menu because I didn't quite catch how to use the acorn helmet so never really got to use it.
Charming and fun! We all need a Nutlad in our lives
