Overall I liked the game! But the very high movement speed makes the game experience difficult. There are things that can be improved about menus and music. I don't find it very gameboy-like. Congrats on your submission!

Thanks for you reply, It's good for me now about this to become better in my future submissions in another jams, and about the music, is still very hard to me for make a song but I'll be better soon, so again, thank you for replying

Good first game jam, at least I think you said it was your first.

Maybe have the speed of the enemies start slower at first and get faster as the game progresses to add some challenge here, that would also help take away a bit of the randomness as it was pretty easy to get hit even if you were skillfully avoiding things earlier in the game.

Also as already brought up the font was too high res and also would have been nice to have been scaled up, I could go full screen but when I did that I could tell it wasn't within the pixel limitations of the game, the sprites were indeed at the right size pixel wise, but when they were coming in at an angle they were rendering more pixels than were allowed as part of this jam.

Though this is probably the hardest part I had with this jam, making sure that I was rendering "pixel perfect".

All that said, again good job for your first jam.  You at least got a bit more music/sound than I did and yours had a main menu and a way to replay the game, which I didn't get to as I got stuck making my game for other reasons so I didn't get all the mechanics and things in the game.  LOL

Thanks for replying and yes, the screen was to difficult to me to implement a good full screen but , I think for my first game jam I was good, thank you for the support I'm happy about this :)

Congrats on your submission!  I like the idea you had here, but I think I felt like you had to just be lucky as opposed to having skill to dodge the aliens.  There was a few times that they came by so quickly, I didn't have time to react but I was just under the line to avoid them.  I really like the art, but the font took away a lot of that Gameboy feel.

Thanks for replying, sorry for this I really can't find a good font that fits good in the game, about avoid the aliens I was think that the game was "to easy", so, I increase his speed number

Its a good game, it just doesn't quite fit "Gameboy"

Developer

Oh yes I also thinks about that but anyway thank you to reply the game, i'm happy about that :)
