How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
"Light Out" is about a girl, Iracema, who visited her grandmother on her grandmother's farm. Then, one night, her grandmother told her stories about several legends that existed in the region. Iracema was curious if those stories were real, so she went to the forest at night without her grandmother knowing, but Iracema did not expect the adventures that awaited her. And she needs to return home as soon as possible.

It's conceptually interesting.

As said below, the mechanics are a bit hard to grasp. Eventually, you do find out what the game wants of you but since your reaction window is so small you're likely to be hit with many game overs that make no sense at first. I think the game would be a lot better if things were slowed down a little.

It's graphically nice, but a bit... mixelly? I don't know. The circle around your character seems to be a higher ress than is possible, though that isn't the case as the ress is 160 x 144. Bit strange.

The overall presentation is competent, however. And the music is pretty good. I just wish you could resize the window.

That was interesting! The soundtrack is proficient. The mechanics are competent, if a bit confusing at first. The in-game art is rough in places, but the character art is quite charming; I especially like the Tamandua design!

The resolution on objects seems a bit strange.

All-in-all, good work!

The art and soundtrack are nice (especially that beautiful cover art)! The gameplay can get hectic-- the enemy guy moves so fast and I'll be running for my life and then a thorny flower would spawn in front of me and I'd run into the flower and die ^-^" And whenever a flower spawns in the middle of the path, I would get stuck and be unable to progress.

Nonetheless, this is cool! Good work.
