I managed to get to the end, but the 3 lives system and difficulty make this fairly hard. Despite that I enjoyed the challenge, and graphics fit the action. This is the kind of game I would like to play on my Game Boy back in the 90's. Great entry!
Challenging game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the GBJam 5 games, if you'd like to take a look :)
Very hard game, the game feel is not perfect, the jump feels a bit too much astronaut and hard to control. The level design is not so good, it's hard to guess when to jump and 3 lives are not enough, barely got to the second level.
The music is SO GOOD, and of course the gameboy feel is here :D
