Well made, fun game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the GBJam 5 games, if you'd like to take a look :)
Bomb must be more powerful. The level design is not very interesting with this only corridor in the middle that quickly become saturated.
I love the Metal Slug feel and those aliens are so happy :D

The graphics and sound were nice. A really like the bomb throwing mechanic too. But the game got boring fast. A little more variety would help. Still, good game.
