I really liked a bloopy sounding music in that.  The gameplay was a bit above me but it was a creative take on this kind of puzzle game.  Everything about it felt like a gameboy game.

This really feels like it belongs on a Game Boy! Great game; idea, execution, mood, gameplay, difficulty. It only needs a persistent high score!

post-jam i'm hoping to update this with a few things like a high score counter, possibly extra music track options, a handful of puzzle mode levels,  and if i can get it working a local versus play "link cable" mode

Pretty tough >.< But I'm loving this!

I can't add this blurb to my rating so I'll put it here instead:

Panic Plumbing perfectly captures the feeling of a title that you'd find in the GameBoy's early library: a puzzle game that's easy to start up and play while you're on the go.

The gameplay is blend of Tetris, slide puzzles and Pipe Mania; a combo that adds surprising depth to relatively simple concepts.

The music has a memorable beat reminiscent of the platform and the visuals are charming, well-balanced and offer a variety of palettes to choose from for your viewing pleasure.

All in all, a good nostalgic romp for fans of puzzle games, old and new.
