Pretty nice! i sent my units straight to the enemy city and spammed attacks and won in like 3 turns, had fun lol the graphics are well done and it does feel like something straight of a real game boy, and the music is catchy, good job!
Haha, this is my first game of this style, the AI is definitely pretty dumb! I’m happy you enjoyed it. Glad you liked the music :D , I was scared people would find it creepy.

I understand the game is made with Vulkan. Did you make the entire engine from scratch??
Yes, but not inside the jam time lol!, heres the code I wrote which I used for the basis of the jam game if you want to look at it: https://github.com/NoamZeise/2D-Vulkan-Environment (although its not really made for other people to use)
Bacially just allows for rendering textured quads, fonts and audio. So i wouldnt go so far as to call it an engine.

Wow pretty ambitious, it seems strange to me that you haven't had ratings yet. Controls may be a little counterintuitive so everyone be sure to check them in the post screenshots. Reminds me to Advance Wars, really cool Noam!
Thanks for the kind words, I’m just so glad it runs ok (first time using my own framework so I wasn’t sure how well it would work!). I was definitely going for an advance wars type game(much simpler of course) so I’m happy that came across :) .
Hi, when I try to run the game it immediately closes.
I’m sorry about that! I used the Vulkan API for this project. If you have an older graphics card, or haven’t upgraded the graphics card drivers in a while you may not have it. I should have made that requirement clear on the page.
Aw looks like my graphics card doesn't have it :( Looks like a cool game, wish I could try it
