The bird design really cracked me up, and the audio goes well with the "weird" (in a good sense!) vibe of the game. The climbing mechanic is fun but a bit too easy once you get the hang of it, it would be nice to have some momentum based propelling or stuff like that.
Glad you enjoyed it! I agree, more gameplay variation/challenge would for sure improve the game.
Made it ! :D
It was pretty fun, the control were a bit strange to get used to but I somehow managed to play fairly easily in a few seconds. There's a little snap system on the wall which is nice and helps a lot, but maybe it also makes the game too easy. It seems you were trying to work on a physics base game with a ragdoll, so having a snap is maybe not the right direction as it is completely opposed to what a ragdoll is, like in Mount Your Friends where you just fly around and catch whatever you can (maybe with a snap, but invisible).
One thing I would have loved being able to do is the ability of pulling the wall fast enough to jump higher, would have made it 10 times more fun imho.
I also did not like the sound design, not that the audio quality was bad, but I don't think it fits the game and some sounds were strange (I believe there is a scratching sound but I did not recognize it until I saw there was a cat, for example).
Cool entry overall ! And amazing vignette ;)
Thanks for your feedback. More difficulty/gameplay variation would make the game more complete for sure. WIsh I hadn't spent 2 days just trying to fix my blender rig -_- haha. Big jumps would def be a cool addition! :)
The 3D model is fantastic, I am getting flashbacks to Hatsune Miku screaming for 5 minutes straight in the most loving way possible.
But that being said the controls could definitely use some workshopping. I get a feeling you were trying to go for something like QWOP/Getting Over It but the end result was fairly unprecise and inhibited by the camera shaking a lot while I was trying to click on something. I will say though, the concept itself is fine and can likely be improved upon, and the visual indicators for where I can grab are very helpful =)
I agree, the controls are pretty janky - my friends all had trouble playing it in class today lol. I'm really happy you liked the bird model, that was probably what I was most proud of in the game :)
