Nice platformer, and for a 12-year-old, you did a great job. Your mom also did a pretty decent job with the music.
Here are some tips to help you beat the game. 1: You can walk over one block gaps, 2: There are shortcuts in the rock area (red) and the ice area (blue). 3: On the green area, you stick to the bottom, 4: DO NOT SPEEDRUN! YOU WILL DIE! Hope you enjoy it!
Its beautiful that your mom and you made something so special for your first jam entry, and at such a young age. Keep up the good work lad, and continue to learn and strive. Well done, now lets get some polish in the game and update everyone on your progress!
Thank you, and thanks for checking it out!
Pretty amazing that this was made by a 12 year old. I liked the art, music, and gameplay! Maybe try adjusting the respawning timer cuz it takes way too long to respawn when you die. But other than that, pretty cool game great job!
Thanks! I am glad you liked it. I am considering updating the timer after the jam! Thanks for checking it out!
Keep up the good work!
Thanks! And thanks for checking it out!
A checkpoint system would be very helpful in case the player falls into a spike pit. Otherwise, this is a nice game.
My initial plan was to make it a speed run game, but I'm considering adding checkpoints after the jam. Thanks!
Great music. Just wondering if this was inspired by piano keys?
Can you consider adding a storyline to it?
Thanks! My mom wrote the music, so I'm not sure. I have a small story line already, but I am considering making it more detailed after the jam. Thanks for checking it out!
maybe it's just me, but I can't see some objects because background and player in some color look too much alike. Good concept, and the different states of the player are awesome.
I had the same issue when I used a certain computer. All you need to do is turn down the brightness and it should fix it.
