You hand over the parameters of the jump to the player and use this to create the level. This is a good idea.

It would be nice to add bonus levels in the sky, like Mario often does

Nice Idea!

The levels are fun and get harder every time! i love the idea but i kinda wish there was shortcut for changing the jump force and gravity because it resets everytime you lose, overall great job!

I love the idea of changing the gravity on the go

I like the idea of adjusting the player's jump height and gravity to get through the levels. But the game needs some work. Once the voting period is over, I would recommend that you do the following to fix the game:

-Make the spike's hitbox smaller. I kept on running into them at the very beginning of level 4 even though I didn't touch them.

-Avoid blind jumps. For example, in level 3, I had jump meter all the way up and the gravity meter all the way down. I jumped for as long as possible and missed the goal. On my second attempt, I tried to not jump as high as possible and ended up missing the goal again by a few blocks. Have some sort of indication as to where the player will land or where they are going when they are jumping high up into the air.

I will do, thanks for the feedback

It's an interesting concept, but it needs more polish.

Developer

Yeah I agree

It's an ok platformer with an ok gimmick, but  some of the jumps end up being blind jumps, which can be very tedious. Still, the concept could be fine tuned.

idk what to say about this at all

Doesn't fit with the Jam theme a lot.

Developer(+1)

why ? the jump is unstable! your goal is to make it stable!
