great job mate, a bit confusing on the controls at the beginning but after that everything was fine, just missing the reappearance on death.
levels were small. So, I didn't made any checkpoints. If you die, you can restart level by clicking on pause and then on restart.

I wanted to use space for selecting. But, space is used for jump and it was making selecting options difficult

Cool, you don't respawn after dying though
you have to restart level by selecting pause.
