Cool idea and concept, did you make your own player movement instead of using the pre-defined behavior? if so I suggest adding other keypressed on Player movement event and inverse it.
Simple short game that also acts kinda like a puzzle - although there were a few bugs

cool 4 your first try , the things i didn’t like is that you need to press e and click the pet to actually eat each time , and that the minigame didnt give you like a powerup or something , but very nice

I think auto-eating would work better.
And instead of clicking the pet, using a button from the keyboard could be a good feature.
