so I made a game and I named it "A Light in the Dark" I just looked it up and there is another game of the same name but mine is a platformer and there's is an interactive platformer so is my game's name legal?
More unique names will help your games get more attention. However, movies, books, games, songs, etc are okay to have the same name. There are so many objects made in the world everyday, so it's not uncommon for a name or idea to be repeated. The only time it is not okay to use the same thing as somebody else is when whatever it is is copyrighted.
