  • This game was a very creative take on a wave-based survival game! The music and sound effects were fun, and I appreciated the variety of attacks to choose from. It gets very difficult around 3 minutes in!

I had a lot of fun with this one! I do agree with the sentiment that the attacks maybe needed a bit bigger range though. I felt like I was constantly missing, though maybe that says more something about my skills lol.

This is a great concept and I LOVE the art. Great take on the auto-shooter. The two side of the moon was also a ton of fun to play around with, I straddled the line most of the time.

Since it is in 3D it's a bit harder to position like it is Vampire Surivor. I struggled getting close enough and facing the right direction for the scratch a lot of the time. I would recommend some longer ranges for the attacks.

Hey I thought this is was a cool concept for an auto shooter. I think that the range of the attacks might be too short though, it felt pretty hard to hit enemies with the claw and tail attacks. I also found that if you just ran in a straight line you could avoid the enemies for a long time. The cat laser eyes are awesome though and the UI is solid!

hey thanks. Yeah I'm not sure if it's a perspective thing but I agree. I think some proper shadows would help but I turned them off cause with the angles of the sun hitting things it just stretched them out and looked terrible. Overall probably just a design failure but I really liked the idea of walking around on a spherical moon.

And I remember in vampire survivors you can do something similar but it ends up being a bad idea since you need to be leveling up to handle the later stronger hordes.

I got hit by a sound effect SO LOUD in my earbuds that it was painful :(

i’m wondering if this was my machine/my airpods. even though i write games i am, tbh, not always the most tech savvy w such gadgets.

probably not just you. Seems like a sound stacked up a bunch then played all at once. Unity adds up the volumes or something. Do you know if it was the exp sound?

Nice take on the basic survival game. I like the variety of powerups, like how the dog is a qualitatively different thing than say the laser.

If you’re going to keep working on it, you might want to add a texture on the ground. The flat gray makes motion and distance kind of hard to read. Just a little bit of noise on the floor should improve that.
