Sorry, I couldn't play it as I only have a Mac. :(

Love the art and atmosphere of the game. Game loop is established, I have a clear understanding of what I need to do. The sound is astounding, it makes me feel immersed in the game. The movement speed was a bit too fast for my liking and I had trouble controlling the player. Also the attack/swing speed was too slow compared to how fast the character is moving. I feel like I could have beaten the game faster if the attack and movement were consistent with one another.

I couldn't get any of the abilities to work for me aside from the speed boost, which kinda just messed me up because the base speed is already so high! The concept of weapon breakage could be super interesting, if the overall mechanics work a little more smoothly (controls, hit registering, etc.)
That said... the music is an absolute banger imo, having the announcer scream at me incredulously about my 5x multiplier was hilarious, and I'm a big fan of chain reactions, so chasing down explosive barrels in each room and watching everything blow up was a real rush!
Combined with the proc gen and overall game design, I feel like this could really go somewhere - nice job everyone! :)

Loved the look and theme of the game. Felt a bit like a combination of the older Diablo's with Crusader: No remorse.

Personally had difficulty getting started an continuing a bit through the game.

But again; great look and theme.

One final playtest! Great job team!

Thank you so much for the play through and all the feedback. You are spot on with all your feedback. I definitely want to try to find some time to address most of those issues. I feel like we're not too far off from something that would actually be really fun, maybe we just need another month haha

Haha for sure, just a couple of tweaks away (<1 month, I think :) )

Pros: Complete game loop, procedural generation (I think?), funny narrative writing and voice lines. Background music is not intrusive/annoying.

Cons: Movement controls are too slippery/top move speed too fast, gameplay is repetitive, no explanation of what items do.

Overall good job to the team, it was a fun playthrough.

Thanks for the feedback! Its a very fair take. We spent a lot of time on just getting features in we wanted and didn't really get to playtesting and tuning controls.
