Interesting potential with this platformer, but I got frustrated early with the inconsistency of the jump. I think what might help is to make the platforms out of one collider, instead of having them piece by piece. The piece by piece art aesthetic looks good, but made for really inconsistent movement. If you just used one invisible collider to approximate all the pieces, I think that would improve it a lot!

A fun platformer, definitely more polished than we usually see.  Had some decent art and animations.  The big thing, as others stated, was the jumps not registering due to the shape of the blocks.  Just so happened a lot of the spots right before you'd want to jump would push you off the ground slightly meaning you were unable to jump.  Other than that though there was some clever use of the increasing jump height blocks that I enjoyed.

Really interesting concept! Where the glitchiness is a feature. How did you make the "glitch" effect?

Feedback:

  • I felt like the text was quite small
  • I felt like the jump button didn't reliably work, which made the platforming a bit frustrating (which maybe was the point w/ the glitchiness? haha)

The game looked great and I liked there was a narrative! Awsome stuff!

First of all a solid game. I liked the visuals alot and there seems to be a great story.
Another good point were the moving platforms. You do not slip off instead you travel with them.
Good Job!

Sadly I had alot trouble with the controls. Alot of jumps where not registered (Which may be the result of the gaps between the tiles.) A box shaped collider would have fittet better i guess.

But all in all good entry!
