The game is super fun! Eventhough I manage to beat it at almost every run, I can't ever get it in no-hit, but I know it's possible. I think it shows difficulty is well balanced. 
The only annoying thing for me was clicking too fast... For example, when trying to spam the fire ability that damages 2 first enemies, when throwing spells too fast, if the enemy dies the second spell will hit nothing.

Ah yes... this is a known issue. We will look into it in the future, sorry for the inconvenience! (although clicking too fast in game jams builds is like asking for troubles, lol :D)
Anyway - congrats on beating the game and thanks for the comment! Keep an eye for updates, we will shake things a bit so the experience (strategy-wise) will be deeper :)

Super cool and super fun! Everything was really polished. Loved the art style and colors. They all fit together well and helped create the spooky forest atmosphere. The softer music during the initial menu being replaced by the more intense music (still same melody) was also a great touch. Love the game! Made it to wave 8! Also, the story slowly built up in intensity. I was into it.

really really fun, super impressive. one thing i think could be nice would be if there was some sign when enemies were going to attack you next turn. you can check the range stat and count but a little indicator would be nice.

Thank you for the kind words, glad you enjoyed! Yes, agreed that would be a very helpful feature and it was actually on our list of things to implement - unfortunately we ran out of time to include it for this jam, but we might keep working on the game! :)

Quite polished, cool vibes, great art, solid ui, fairly fun gameplay, nice spells. I seemed to blow right through each level until I hit 7, where I got demolished.

Yup, the earlier waves are easier so players can get a grasp on different mechanics. But the game is definietly beatable! (At last by me :D)
