Talking points of your game.
You are an assassin sent to kill a Daimyo (Japanese feudal lord), but the forest you have to cross, is plagued with enemy camps, so you have to be stealthy in order to reach the Daimyo.
Since I'm strictly a programmer, I don't have much imagination to design video games, so I opted for a minimal gameplay mechanic as mashing two buttons to avoid the enemies hear you.

Things were a bit confusing at the start, but soon i got the hang of it. It's a enjoyable expirence, however things get a bit boring when you pass 100, i would suggest a ramp up, maybe that there is a enemy sometimes, and you have to press space to kill him/her, just a thought. Overall it is a good game, a bit boring when playing for long, but still good :D
first I was like wtf is happening, after a few tries I understood the controls.
Simple enough, would love to see more original assets in the future.
Not sure how to rate this since everything I can see or hear was a third party asset. You put them together nicely though. I liked the alternating A/D button mashing for stealth that you programmed though.
haha I loved how he was having so much fun running that he was "yeehoooo"-ing
I honestly didn't quite get what you were supposed to do until my third run, and once I do I found the gameplay veeery easy. Would be really nice to have more mechanics in it, and more variations of the enemies probably finding you.
Also an artist's nitpick, I find that the background and the character sprite didn't go along at all.
I really enjoy the art style of this game. Background is so clean, and illuminating it from within was a great idea. I wish that after the enemy was triggered you got to see one (or more) of them run on screen and capture the character.
Once I found the rhythm, I easily got over 300 on my first run. I'd suggest a run speed increase on a gentle ramp or decreasing the length of A and D's walk to spice things up as the game continues.
Sounds were great. Music a bit of a noticeable loop, but fit well. Ending scream of "yaahoooh" was worth the price of admission.

It's really minimal gameplay :) "yaaaooooohhhhhhhh" was the best part of this game
