Online participation

Hello, I am still confused about the possibility of online participation. You state that only 100 people can attend the jam on-site, but the overall capacity is now 150. Does that mean that we can participate online? Do we need an online-only team for that? ("Make sure ALL your team members are there!") Thanks!

Hi, everyone should attend the opening speech on site and after that you can work from anywhere you'd like :) To ensure that everyone who stays on site for the FULL duration of the jam has a dedicated working space we had to limit the capacity to 100 people. However, we know the interest is great and more people would like to participate, we have the extra 50 spots for people who still wanna join even though they don't have a guaranteed working spot on site. The second limit of 150 poeple is there mostly to ensure that our judges will be able to play all the sumbmissions and fairly evaluate each of them to pick the finalists and the overall winner.

I guess the issue for my potential group is that we are not living in Prague, and we were too late to fit into the 100-person limit. Traveling to Prague just to attend the opening speech and then finding a place to work from doesn't seem that reasonable, albeit still possible. We'll look into it. Thanks for the reply!
