Interesting game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the Giant ROM 3 games, if you’d like to take a look. :)

There was a phrase with a 2 for sweatdrop face, and I had 0 sweat drop faces on the right side bar, but choosing that option made it go down to -4. Also every icon has it's own bar of faces.

On paper this game sounds fun, it's a pretty great premise, and I'm sure there's some actual math going on, but I just can't figure out what the UI is trying to tell me.

Actual useful feedback: Liked the sound and look of it, fit the theme well. I don't think the gameplay is particularly invigorating (I genuinely have no idea how to do well still) but that's fine because I just liked choosing the options that made me laugh the most and seeing what happens.

I lost half my user base by making an anime. 10/10

Too many good jokes in this game! I loved the idea!

Thanks to all for playing and rating so far!

To jwang19's point, there were definitely some performance issues that became more apparent as you do better in the game (turns out reflowing layout on each leaving audience member callback maybe not sustainable).

I've directly addressed those performance concerns in an update I just pushed, and it definitely is running smoother. Plus, there's a weird Chrome bug(?) that makes the leaving audience members kinda flash a little before disappearing. So that's neat. Safari still hates gigantic spritesheets, so I've noted on the game page that it works best on Chrome/Firefox.

Also found and fixed an issue where you couldn't actually win if you got to 500Million. =) Not surprised no one found that (yet).

From a visual standpoint, this game is extremely polished. It looks so good that I wouldn't change a thing about it if I were to publish this game for real.

Unfortunately, I couldn't finish the game. The inside jokes were great and some of the combinations I made were funny but after Level 5, the game started chugging. I'm not sure if it's my computer or browser, but the text would take about 5 seconds to load in. The lag got worse the further I progressed into the game until it was barely playable for me.

Neat idea, and I really like the execution in terms of menu design and sound and stuff. Looks and sounds pretty snazzy.

Gameplay isn't particularly exciting but I definitely made myself chuckle with some of my presentations. Lots of funny combinations possible.

Great job!

@joystickhero: Thanks for playing and especially thanks for commenting!

And you're not definitely alone in being confused about the phrase effects. All through testing I wasn't always sure exactly what would happen, but I made peace with it by knowing that 1) all the info is there by hovering each audience (which is tedious and not intended to be played that way, but it's possible) and 2) the replay value comes from the quirkiness and fun of the random phrases. =) Which I'm super glad to hear you enjoyed! Thanks again.

Cool idea, although I had a hard time trying to figure out which phrases would make people leave or pull them in. Might have just been me not understanding the system. Really fun putting together common E3 buzzphrases though. Like, incredibly fun.
