Hello, this is my first game jam. The rules said to add an explanation when I submitted my game to the jam, but I couldn't see where to do that. So I will do that here if that's ok?

I found out about the Gift Jam 2023 by looking through the gift jams page on Itch. I haven't had a long experience making games that I actually end up making public, so I was kind of curious and browsing through. When I saw the description of Gift Jam, it instantly clicked for me - I have someone I really am grateful towards and the Gift Jam description inspired me to actually make that person a game. I knew kind of instantly what kind of game I'd make for them too.

So, I hope my submission (King of Gaintopia) is accepted. Thank you for the inspiration and letting me be in the GIft Jam!
