How have you used the theme "Strength Lies in Differences" in your game?
Aliens have invaded earth and you have to create Kaijus to dispatch each alien from each city. Higher tier aliens cannot be defeated except by combining different kaiju to create new stronger elements.

This was a super cool entry that reminded me a lot of the most unexpected blend of the strategic map on X-Com: Enemy Unknown and also the Chao Garden in Sonic Adventure 2! (Never thought I'd ever see someone put those two together, haha).
I really enjoyed trying to find out what all the aliens were and how I'd need to defeat them, it felt like a really well thought out game. :)
My only issue with it was that the movement speed was really slow and also movement itself was kind of unnecessary. It could have been consolidated into menus alone, but it really is a small thing for a great jam game!
A really well thought out game. I enjoyed the proces of elimination and the design of the game loop. With a little time and effort the game can be made into something really sweet. It has potential for sure.
thank you so much
Here is a short "making of" video if anyone is interested!
Brilliant level of detail here!
thank you
I think it can definitely be improved once polished. I like the idea at the core of the game, although sometimes moving across interfaces felt a bit slow.
Yeah I agree, I already have some ideas for improvements.

The concept and game mechanic is cool but I think having one screen 2D UI only (I'm thinking of pixel art UI like Papers, Please) is more suitable for this type of game.
We wanted to create an immersive environment so the player had to work to get all the information on the weaknesses of the alien races. It for sure needs some polish though for sure.
Really cool game, I ended up accidently beating a lot of the enemy monsters without any research xD
a nice casual experience, but I kept accidently double clicking the Next Turn button ;-;
Thank you! We were planning on implementing a delay after a click but we didn't get the time unfortunately. Thank you for the feedback
It's a cool concept, the gameplay is really good! With a slick ui (walking between terminals makes it sooo slow) and some sound design, i'd buy this ^
Thank you i appreciate that, we would have loved a sound designer but we didn't know anyone unfortunately.
It was an ambitious project but super proud of how this one turned out, the whole team did great :D
To anyone trying it out, it may seem complex at first for a game jam game but just take your time and try interacting with all the different terminals. There's no time pressure because you choose when to advance the turns so have fun!
