Now I understand why there is an AI in that ship! There is way too many key combinaison to do simple things.
Like the concept of it. I Hoped to figure out a control without the helps but didn't find any. It makes death all right because you only need to learn stuff, thats cool!
this is a super-cool game! the finger gymnastics i had to do just to execute basic actions was really engaging, and learning new stuff is a cool sensation!
Crazy input! I loved the ideia, knowing everything is at you disposal since the start of the game is just so intriging .
I tried to figure out the inputs by myself, only managed to shoot an recover, the rest I had to read the instructions. The ending made me laugh, really cool! Beat it in 20 minutes lol
I do think some of the button combinations are very uncomfortable, so maybe think about it for next versions. The missing sound was something that bothered me too.
Nice job!
This was great! Learning my capabilities was rewarding, dying isn't a problem. It really scratches the metroidvania itch on a small scale. Also that button combo is a pretty great ending :)
This was good! I never found out any of the controls by myself, so it was just a regular metroidvania for my first playthrough, but it was still fun, especially when I died and started from the beginning already essentially having some upgrades.
Also, I beat your time by using the last upgrade first: https://imgur.com/a/K2dSYK4
This is fun. The controls are hard to execute which is both part of the charm and somewhat frustrating when you're trying to jump and shoot something without getting hurt. Perhaps I just need to explore more to figure out how to do it better, though. While I never played Toki Tori 2, this idea reminds me of Mark's video on it.
This is such a cool concept! After the first hint I stopped and tried all sorts of crazy button combinations. I figured out how to fire by myself! Then I went back to gather more hints!:D
