I'm not sure how well the mechanic fits the theme.  Most bullet hell games don't give the player a weapon. Just Shapes and Beats for example. A better description would be a shoot em up (shmup) without a gun. I do like the game though. I wish the game told you how long the shield lasted in some way as well.

An interesting concept that is not so well executed, for example the game becomes quite easy when you simply sit inside a circle and wait for projectiles to finally kill all enemies within the level.

Perhaps a making it so that barriers are also impassable for the player or reflected bullets where still hostile would make the game more compelling. In its current state it is a super interesting idea with a catchy sound track and one that I hope is developed upon.
