This is by far the best one ive played so far, its not that great for the theme, but its such a fun and original concept that i dont even care
Thanks bigbird! ☺️ That's very kind of you to say so!
Really enjoyed this, matey. Fun, slick and perfect for the theme. Good luck.
Really cool and orginal game, I hope you are in the top 100.
Ah thank you! I hope so too, that'd be great!

It's like the 'Guess Who' board game, but with blood spatter and a ticking clock time limit - I love it!
"Quick-fire Guess Who with a sniper rifle" is my elevator pitch. 😂
I really enjoyed playing that game. It's very polish and pleasant to play. I find the idea super interesting. There's a lot of diversity in the characters :o Good job !
I also made a little video compilation of games from the game jam and you're in it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mJWndlAIwk
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! And thanks for including me in the video, much appreciated! :)
Very similar to this one. Which is a good thing, as I really like the idea. :) Love the variety of faces, like the highscore mechanic that rewards you for being quick and found it especially clever, that you can also miss the target, if you're not aiming carefully. Fits the theme ("only one shot") and prevents you from only focusing on the features displayed in the sidebar and aiming with peripheral vision only.
My game: https://njamster.itch.io/wonkey (playable in browser, not mobile friendly)
Oh wow, it's remarkable how similar they are! I hadn't even seen that game until now.
Interesting that you liked that you could miss, because I'm really not keen on that myself. I feel like it's too punishing and puts too much focus on precision aiming, not identification. It does add an extra 'only one' element though as you say. I'd be inclined to make it lock your input for a few seconds as a compromise. :)
Thanks for the review! I'll check out your game now!
Yeah, temporally locking the input ("reloading") sounds like a perfect compromise. Prevents you from being too careless, as it will cost you some points, but isn't overly punishing unless it already took you too long to decide what to shoot in the first place. :)
Really fun. Great polish for a game jam! Love the "target" animation you implemented.
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! :)
