The game is really cool! Simple but really addictive!
Well done :)

I liked it! It's a fun concept which I think could be greatly expanded given some more thought to the design and iteration over it. Reminds me of a mario party minigame. Love the aesthetic :)

Developer

Thank you! It's actually based on the Mario Party 2 minigame where you count Toads!

nice one, I was also missing the instructions at fist on how to play :)

Nice game, short and sweet!

I realy liked the art style, the background music is also great but i didn't get the idea of the game at the first attempt. I think a little tutorial would be nice and a gradual development of dificulty could be great too. At all, i think that was a great work of you and is well made  ^^

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! I realise now that a lot of people would've preferred in game instruction! I'll hopefully be able to add this in a later build if I choose to develop the game further! I'm glad you enjoyed it though :D

The style of the game and it's originality are great, but a little more explanation would have been good, first try i thought the goal was to spam as fast as possible, or to turn off the lights, the name window watcher doesn't imply that you count the number of lights on, not window count, but at least for the simplicity it is well executed

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! A few people have mentioned they would have liked the instructions to be in the game rather than on the game's page! So I'll definitely take that into consideration in future! :D

I like how the game looks, but I think it's a bit TOO simple in it's one button design. Perhaps have the player count the number of a certain item in the windows and have other similar looking items in other windows as the challenge. maybe throw in random power outages where you have to mash x to turn the power back on. Either way, props for the interesting idea and the quite nice looking game.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! The premise of the game isn't to be one button though. You actually can use both Z and X to alter the counter when playing in order to account for the lights that go off during gameplay as well as those that turn on! I do like the idea of having to turn lights on that go off though, but that'd be an entirely different game! Perhaps another time! I'm glad you liked the game! :D

Meh...

Developer

Could you tell me what you didn't like about it? I'm always open to criticism, and wanting to improve! :D

Well when i started it i didnt really get that it was a counting game. And also needed to close it with the task manager. Like i guess its okay if youre into this sort of stuff. I guess just add some instructions?

Developer

Okay, thanks for letting me know! The details of the game are laid out quite clearly on the game's page though, although I appreciate that you may not have been linked to that page. You can actually hit escape when on the scoreboard screen to exit the game :)
