A very well executed tower defense with only one tower!

Great graphics and 8bit sfx and control feels smooth

The challenge of managing only one tower can be tough, but simple enough to know the consequences.

The boss fight is super fun! I realized that i could  utilize the down time to hit the boss!

Speaking about down time, i really like having something to do while my tower shoots, and collectingg gems fills just the role! I have to optimize between picking gems or moving my tower. Subtle but powerful!


Really hope to see a post-jam version of this idea

Very cool game, I love the subtle tutorial on the start screen and the constant tension of choosing when to move the turret.

Very polished! Love how you run faster while holding the turret - like in real life. :P Could be actually interesting I think, if the turret would still fire while moving it around, just much slower. Also I was kind of sad, that the upgrades did not carry over between levels. Would have loved ending up with the turret you showcase in the credits, haha! Lastly, take a look at this game, if you haven't already: it's also about moving around "only one" weapon for base defense and though it doesn't look as fancy as yours, I has some clever mechanics, that might inspire you for this game as well.

Very cool idea, good fun to play! I can imagine if it were a full game it would be great fun getting into the later levels with an ridiculous turret and lots of enemies.

Would definitely benefit from the turret getting some over the top visual changes for upgrades too, end up like a castle covered in guns.

This was a very clever and adorable game. Considering the time constraints, this was a 5 star experience. More levels and depth with some music would make this a definite buy on the app store. Great job guys!

Yes, the game could really use polish, and of course the lack of music is really hitting, but it truely is very fun. The idea of a boss was really interesting and something you don't see that often in most TD games.

Thank you so much! Polish and music were things that we had to sacrifice because of the short time of the jam, unfortunately :(

I love the touch that your character moves faster while holding the turret. Truely brilliant. I tried to see if I could hit the 200 upgrade each round, even letting myself take some damage just so I could boost around the the turret.

Moving faster while holding the turret truly was a game changer. We'll work on an animation that makes you look faster as well in order to create a visual consistency with the buff in the future.

Quite theme fitting for a take on a genre already so diverse. Really cute art as well. Well done.

p.s.: you should propose arrows as alternate controls. AZERTY peeps shouldn't have to switch their keyboards to play :(
