I gave you five stars for design and for every thing else. I loved it!
Please look at my game as well https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/461311 I hope you'll like it as much as I liked yours :)
The movement with dashing feels a bit janky at first but has a surprising amount of depth to it. I like all the cool maneuvers you can pull off with your three dashes. That said, I think you could've spread out your difficulty curve more and the implementation to "only one" felt a bit tangential.
Very fun game, the movement is challenging yet rewarding when done well. Interesting concepts in each level.
This isn't relevant to the game design, but I'm impressed by the amount of background environmental storytelling in this thing.
It's fun and the graphics are very nice.
However, I don't think it did something very interesting with the jam's theme, the "only one" is just used as a specific time constraint that isn't core to the experience, moreover, the core mechanic actually uses "only 3" - 3 jumps between wall touches.
That said, again, the game IS fun, so it works very well as a game, just not as a game design experiment / exercise.
Hey I really liked your game, nice graphics and Design. It was fun to play - I just didnt understand when to have 2 and when to have 3 jumps i think you want some easy to understand rules there (maybe i just didnt get it tho) Also the moving Saw after the fire was really hard to get through. ^^' I did give only 3 of 5 Stars for the Adherence to the Theme tho, cuz i didnt see a main mecanic acording to the theme except for the time you have which played a pretty minor role imo.
I rated 3/5 in terms of design since it's a bit hard to maneuver and the collisions stop the can from keeping the momentum, which is a big factor here.
