A very interesting take on the top down shooter genre. The message was interesting enough, but I couldn't get through to the end due to some bad luck it seemed. The bullets came seemingly from nowhere, and I barely had any time to react. The narrative aspect was good overall, but the gameplay could use some balancing. Overall very interesting!

The idea is pretty interesting and original, left me very curious to see the ending. As the game is hard and I am really bad at it, I couldn't beat it. I missed some clearer indications to what kills you in the game and what you can pick up (maybe an extra color for everything that can kill you). Overall, nice job for only 16h! Hope to see more games from you in the future :D

Behind the scenes:

The idea was SO persistent (moreover, I do not like horror). This game was possible, BECAUSE it was short GameJam, game like this VERY unlikely be my main project).

This was my 1st GameJam (although I have learnt Unity 11 months) and I had a job during weekend (Fr-Sun), so I could work on the game only 16 h (instead of 25-30 h) and on the end was EXHAUSTED (late nights and early mornings took a toll).

Still I am happy that participated and have no regret about chickening out.

So, I all the way to the left side and there is a wall. Was this the end?

Yes and I am happy that you finished it. For not finished *mindblowing spoilers* The journey represents life, where we loose people for better or worse (archenemy or the best friend) and it changes us (power ups). The wall represents the end point, when we can return to our past (back in the level and reread the messages) or wait inevitable death (when the song ends, your characters will die, even if you chilled just at right side wall, not move at all, keeping status quo). During the road you must decide if it is easier to be just on your own OR to put an effort to keep somebody until the end. Not your words, but actions will speak.

Those, who have finished the game, know why the game is a bit on the hard side.

Interesting concept! Quite dark and bleak!

I do not like horror etc., but the idea just did not let go. I made this game, because it was just short GameJam, otherwise I would not withstand that bleak mindset.

If you get stuck, do not rush, remember enemy positions and IF you got rid of archenemy and haters, then shoot all the time. Also remember to pick up power ups.
