Enjoyed the game, and like the choices made on the feedback to the player, from the level end slowdown to the minimal UI. Good work. I did encounter a bug that soft locked the game though, possibly from hitting a new enemy type (bigger red square fella with a tiny hat) with the same bullet twice?

Developer

Thanks, that fella is a fat one that bullet can't get through ๐Ÿ˜….. So you would make sure to hit'm last.

If stuck you can use R to restart..

Thanks again ^^

I like how exciting it is ^^

You don't deserve 3 stars like they gave you in the stream.

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks man, I saw that coming when they couldn't make the level of Foe, I mean the answer for that was easy, but they are more into running out of time in the stream or maybe want to be playing as many games as they could..

I still wouldn't have argued with them, I mean I asked them to play it, it's kinda my fault, I must have asked if they are into puzzle games :D.. and I thank them anyway for trying it.. however they must have got their point of view, not all people agree on one thing.

Nice game and I love the idea. The levels are well designed and the later levels are hard. You can add higher difficulty elements such as wind, gravity fields or water. I enjoyed the game a lot, great work.

Developer

Thanks yetman! I guess I'll give what you suggested a shot, especially water, that gravity, that sounds promising!

Best!

I liked how game rolled on with its core mechanic, adding things like hostages, shield and such. Great work!

Thank you CerosWare!

I left a feedback on your game, Good job.

Great game - fun, addicting, really difficult at points. It looks simple at first glance, but the clever level design and enemy variations along with the limited vertical movement makes this game stand out among the other ricocheting bullet games in the jam. Nice job!

P. S. I knew it isn't a priority for a jam, but I think you could make this game even more enjoyable with some sound effects and a fast paced soundtrack - or a soundtrack that starts slow while you aim but speeds up after you shoot.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for your feedback, I'm really happy that you liked it.

Unfortunately I had no time to add sounds, but I agree it's a must even if it's not the focus of the jam.. I'll try that out! ^^

My favorite I've played so far, interesting mechanic and very on theme. Something about the rope too just works so well in my opinion. A guiding line to see the initial bounces direction might've been useful but otherwise very nice and satisfyingly challenging.

Amazing game! Definitely one of my favorites so far! Art style is minimalist, but super cute and easy to parse. I especially like how the bullet slows down before impact. Would really benefit from some sound effects though. Unfortunately "Big Belly Eats" is bugged, but you can restart by pressing "R" - so no big deal. There is quite a bunch of new enemy types beyond that point: like gunners, guys with shields and hostages, that your are not allowed to shoot! Quite impressive for a 48h gamejam! Found my personal nemesis in the "Architecture" level however. Could not beat it and had to stop there. :(

Brilliant idea, the core mechanic is sound and super fun. Very addicting. Sufficiently challenging as well!

I liked the mechanics, and the puzzles were well thought out. I think it would really benefit from some sort of trajectory line, as in the current build the puzzles required a lot of trial and error. The bullet slow down, and the inherent comedy of a bullet ricocheting around the level, missing every enemy, then hitting you, is brilliant!

Developer

Thanks man! I agree with ya.. I'll add the trajectory line in next builds, Thanks again^^

I really like it!

Thank you! ^^

this game and its mechanics are pretty good. I just with it had slightly better levels to really make use of them. The issue is that the bouncing is inconsistent at best, especially the corners. Given that this could still be made into a full game.

Developer

Thanks Justin! I agree bouncing has issues, and increases the difficulty sometimes.. I'll to fix that and update it after the jam.

Thanks again^^

Absolutely fantastic job! Creative and clever. My biggest complete is that you can't click to restart levels when it says press any key.

Developer

I had clicked many times out of rage while testing Found out people might do ๐Ÿ˜….. so went for keyboard to switch level.. but I agree with you!

Thanks, I really appreciate it ๐Ÿ™

Very interseting idea and well achieved. Unfortunately the game froze at Big Belly eats bullets but still with what I saw this game has great potential ;)

Developer

Thanks dude, ^=^.. sorry for that you can use R to restart or choose level from menu selection.

Thanks again ^^

Easy to understand - not so easy to play ;) Had a lot of fun shooting around, killing myself all the time, addictive!
