Good game !
The concept is nice and the mechanics is simple.

Still challenging as enemies get spawning over and over !
One thing you could do is to create waves so the player can see their progression.
In my opinion It's more rewarding than infinite enemies spawning.

Note : You did not mention the jump in the page. Once you use it you can avoid so much more projectiles ! Reached 25 thanks to it :P

Good submission overall :)

Arrrghh

This game was sick. Absolutely a 5 on originality. Not only have I never seen this idea in this jam, I don't think I've ever seen this idea before. You really got creative on this one. Challenging, tight, and really fun. Good job!

Thanks, I think we spent like 2 - 3 hours figuring out an idea to use for the game jam...

That was a lot of fun. I liked how you connected enemies together. Made it easier to tell where I was about to get shot from.

You might want to include a way for me to tell when I am close to an enemy body as right now I have to completely rely on peripheral vision lol.

Hey, I sent this review to you on discord, but just wanted to post it for others to see too.

Your game was very short, but it did it's job. It works great as a small little minigame.

Art and sound design are minimal, but do their jobs. For gameplay, it took a few runs to figure everything out, but overall, it's fairly decent.
I don't have any criticisms about anything that was bad or wrong or anything, but I also can't point to anything that I found super amazing either. Overall, it felt decent, but not super amazing either. I wish I could point to specific areas, but I can't really find a ton of flaws with it. if anything, I'd do research into how to polish your games in general for the future, as I feel that's the only real advice I can give. screen shake, bass boosted sound effects for guns, etc. I'm just not sure what advice to give beyond that. overall though, you made a game quickly and you should be proud. great job!

This game grew on me! The overall artstyle could be better and the sounds are a bit meh. But I really like the gameplay! Got really stressful after a while :D
