It was fun, but a little bit confusing. I like how high you can jump and I also like the sound effects and music. I can see this as a co-op game if you added more people who attacked the boss. Nice work!

Developer

Thanks!

At the beginning I was confused and didn't know what was going. After that it was quite alright.

Developer

Thanks!

Even after reading the description, I found the game quite confusing... 1 2 and 3 didn't look like they did anything. The game also didn't run well at all on my computer, but that's on me. I'm not the biggest FPS fan so I suck at aiming, lol.

I don't feel like it would be fair to rate this game since I couldn't play it very well because of my computer.

Developer

What do you mean they didn't do anything? They didn't function as intended?

Submitted

They did absolutely nothing, no sound, no effect...

Developer

Well uh, no one has complained about them till now! 1 shoots bullets rapidly, 2 charges up a larger, more damaging bullet and yeah, I forgot that 3 got remapped to RMB, sorry! Making changes to these controls in the Game's page, try again maybe?

Lots of polish on quite a complex set up! Nice job. :)

Developer

Thanks!

The game is nice, and the concept is interesting. It needs a little more time of develop and the game can be great. At first the controls were a bit clunky and i coudn't know why i died all the time, but there were the mines hahaha. With a bit of pulish it can be very good :D

It's a bit of spam, but as i didn't submit the game myself the submitted tag doesn't appear on my name, so here it is our game, if you wanna give it a try, Thanks :D

Nice work! Keep improving :)

Developer(+1)

Sure! I'll try it by tomorrow, if possible!

Just a little more time and you had a nice boss-fight-level! Beat the boss to -100 HP and start to catch all mines, haha. Its cool, but just a real death and endscreen! Maybe you can add it and spent some patch for it ;) Nice work!

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, will sure patch it up after the jam is done!

It looks good, it hits the premise pretty well and the controls are fairly solid - the only thing I'd say is that the game gets kinda samey after a while? Ultimately it's just looking up at the sky and pulling the trigger, which kinda loses its lustre after a little while and means the player isn't really looking at the cool environment work you've done which looks really cool. Maybe have the enemy move around at different levels of the Y axis too so that there's more opportunity to check out the things you've made.

Also for the future, it might be worth implementing a cooldown period after the player dies, just because I found I got stuck in loops of respawning a few times in a row.

Developer(+1)

Well, that was left till the end, and we eventually forgot to add the death screen functionality, even though there was a death screen...

The AI was also left for the end, so we hurried it a bit...
Thanks for your review!

446 MB looks pretty scary, but it looks good and a quality game.

Due to infinite lifes and the enemy's HP staying where it was, it does not really feel like "1 life" more like a glitch, every time you get killed.  But I understand that a lot of effort went into the mechanics, so I will still give it a rating.

Developer

Thanks, but actually the "mines" mechanic was added in the last second to the game...
Before that though, I thought just respawning the player instead of reloading the scene would cut the loading screen's time...
Thanks for the rating!
