Turn-base strategic game ! Love it !
I did not quite catch the mechanics right away but after reading the short description you made, it was   better !
Adding some sounds effects when doing an action would be enough to know what you did. Like adding footsteps when you travel or a fire effect when you kill an enemy !

I'm still surprised ! Good Job :)

Thanks for playing! Yeah, it definitely needs audio, and to be clearer about whats going on at the beginning.

Interesting game. Has potential. Maybe a campaign mode could work to introduce the mechanics to the player. Survived 13 years :D

Good job! Some tutorialisation at least would be good, perhaps with some premade puzzle style layouts? Thanks for the suggestion!

I liked this game, good for a short play, could do with a bit more depth but great for a jam.

Any intention of taking the game further?

Developer

Thanks for playing! I'd like to give it a bit more polish, but i think I'll work on the underlying hexagonal code (zooming, panning etc) before i make any visible improvements.

kinda like a puzzle game where you try to move out of the way ... sadly i dont quite get the shoot mechanic and always die to overwhelming enemies

Developer

I aimed for it to be a short, repeatable game, so an enemy spawns every move. I think you're right though, there are too many enemies too quickly, and you don't get yo enjoy the puzzlely part

What did blue and green mean?

Developer (2 edits)

Nothing really, it's just supposed to look like a planet. I was thinking of having the blue (water) spread more pollution to other water, but it didn't pan out in time

Thanks for playing!
